There are many different stories about the Hindu goddess Kali Ma, and she is often thought of as something to be afraid of: a goddess of death and violence.

Kali isn’t about death or evil. She is about transformation, and as the counterpart of Shiva the destroyer she brings death to ego and attachment, not physical death or war.

She brings death and transformation that creates enlightenment and freedom. She can also be seen as fierce, divine feminine, warrior energy, a manifestation of Shakti.

She can be scary because she brings change. She’s asking you to up level, to evolve. And your ego never wants to be released. It wants to stay in control and run the show.

She reminds us that everything in life is a cycle: the old must be cleared out for the new to come in. Change brings your evolution. Birth and death are natural cycles of life, and we must allow them to happen.

WHEN TO CONNECT WITH KALI

When you’re stuck in fear and attachment, call on Kali.

When you’re afraid to move out of your comfort zone, to step into the unknown and into mystery, she’s your goddess.

When you’re afraid to stand in your power, call

Apples in Witchcraft . Witches Apple Lore & Spells – WhiteMagickAlchemyBlog by Nancy Upshaw

Apples in Witchcraft . Witches Apple Lore & Spells

Few of our Mother’s gifts are so celebrated in lore as the apple. Often associated with goddesses of fertility, the apple is for many, a Tree of Knowledge. Apples, may be incorporated into spells and magical rituals when honoring deities (gods and goddesses) and can be used for abundance, prosperity, money spells, luck, love, peace, balance and happiness.

For fertility, the seeds can be planted in establishing a shrine of trees to Aphrodite or other fertility goddesses. Dried apple seeds can be ground into a powder with a mortar and pestle and used as incense. Apples may be eaten, the juice shared in a chalice ritual cup, or offered as a libation when seeking knowledge through the Tree of Life… an act of calling upon the wisdom from the divine.

The Granny Smith apple is known as the witches apple as for when it is cut horizontally, the seed cavity reveals a pentacle (five pointed star). The Granny Smith apple is often used in abundance and money spells because of it’s green color of prosperity. For a good money spell you may wish to read about my Powerful Immediate Money Drawing Spell. Told to me by a shaman friend many many moons ago, it has proven over the years to be the best money spell I’ve ever come across and we

Goddess Knowledge – Lady of the Lake

As in many traditions in which a goddess bestows kingship, a mysterious Celtic goddess, gave King Arthur the sword Excalibur and thus established his power and his right to be king. Before he died, Arthur restored the sword her, and it now remains with her beneath the waters deep.

Water, the source of all life, has long been the domain of the goddess. Lakes representing the source of creative power and the land of the dead, life-giving and death or renewal being the two main functions of the goddess. Water indicates both consciousness and revelation. The Lady of the Lake is a guide to the mysterious realms of emotion and renewal, a source of immense creativity. She can give us the energy we need to rule our lives.

Goddess Knowledge – White Shell Woman

White Shell (or White Bead) woman, also called Turquoise Woman or Alone Woman, is so said to be a younger version of Changing Woman. White is the color of dawn and of the east. Whit Shell Woman, the creator and sustained of life, created re Navajo people and sent them their home. As gift, she gave them shells, which became corn and other food baring plants; she gave them the animals; she gave them gifts of rain and beautiful flowers. With the sun, she is the mother of Killer-of-Enemies and Child-of-the-Water, the dual protectors of the people from their enemies.

A Navajo chat says “All things around me are restored in beauty.” It is because of White Shell Woman that this is so, and because of her teachings that we can experience the exquisite harmony that comes from being alive on this beautiful earth.
