Are Epsom salts good for you? | Well+Good by Ann Abel

There’s a reason you feel great after a swim in the ocean—and it’s not because of the beautiful scenery and the soothing sound of the waves (though there’s that, too): Salt water contains a hefty dose of good-for-you elements, such as sulfur, magnesium, and calcium.

“The ocean contains an abundance of minerals and when you soak in them, there is a very effective result that

How to make and send Energy Balls by The Alchemist

istant Healing Energy balls are far older than you think. Since the ancient times, humans knew that they don’t just have a physical body, but other frequencies exist within – at the same time.

The Several Bodies we possess

Although many ancient civilisations may have categorised the bodies in a different way they all agree that there is a physical body, a spiritual – energy body (some call it the Astral Body) and the of course the immortal Soul.

The Energy body (aka Astral body) is very sensitive to external (and of course internal) stimuli. While being in a room where something terrible has happened, our Energy Body collects information which affects its “physiology” and therefore it helps us understand what may happened there. The energy of this terrifying room interacts with your energy body and this chill you’re feeling is an actual 6th sense coming from this – much more – sensitive “body”. If for any reason you have to stay in this room the energy of the room will interfere with your energy body’s “homeostasis” and change some of its functions which will ultimately mean – if you don’t do something about it – weakness, energy depletion and sickness.

This does not mean that we should always look for a spiritual reason for our physical body’s illness – always consult with your medical doctor – but it means that witches always act on the energy level too. This was just an example to show you how energy affects your energy and therefore your physical body. You can pay thousands of Dollars to learn about energy healing, reiki and distant healing but really you can start practicing on your own and you will see how much “the energy” can do for you.

how to create energy balls

Follow these steps to create and send energy balls

Energy transcends time and space. Once you learn how to “send energy” you can do it for healing purposes, or even change the outcome of a future event or even send it to the past. Although the actual past event won’t probably change, the impact will be much better for you. In this article you will learn how to send energy and then modify the energy according to what you want (healing, money, protection, love etc)

Step One – your “Temple”

Set up your sacred space where all the magic will happen. This should be a quiet space where its unlikely to be disturbed. You can use your altar if you like. Wear comfortable loose clothes, remove heavy jewellery – unless they play an important ritual role for you, for example a tiara of the Moon (you can soon buy from our Magical Store).

You may want to lay down or sit comfortable or on a yogi or semi-yogi style (Cernunnos style). Whatever makes you feel better is the best. In this place, you are one with the Cosmos. Take few breaths. Quiet your thoughts, silence your mind, relax your body.

Step Two – making Energy Balls

In order to send the energy you must first gather and concentrate it. To start gathering the energy clap your hands 3-4 times and start rubbing them together horizontally and in a circular mode. Do that for two – three more times.

Doing that you “Activate”

Water intoxication – when you drink too much water by Arlene Semeco

This has been known to be fatal in some cases.

Water intoxication

Eight bottles of water

Also known as water poisoning, water intoxication is the disruption of brain function due to drinking too much water (1).

Drinking a lot of water increases the amount of water in your blood.

This water can dilute the electrolytes in your blood, especially sodium. When sodium levels fall below 135 mmol/L, it is called hyponatremia.

Sodium helps balance fluids between the inside and outside of cells.

When sodium levels drop due to excess water consumption, fluids shifts from the outside to the inside of cells, causing them to swell (2).

When this happens to brain cells, it can produce

Fluoride As a Neurotoxin: 9 Ways It Harms Your Brain Created by Deane Alban

woman looks surprised at a glass of water

Fluoride is a trace mineral that, in sufficient quantity, is harmful to mental health. Consider these reasons to avoid fluoridated water and toothpaste.

1. Fluoride Is a Developmental Neurotoxin

A neurotoxin is a substance that’s poisonous or destructive to the tissues in the brain, spinal cord, and nervous system.

A developmental neurotoxin is one that affects the brain during the most susceptible stages of life — before birth and during early childhood.

A recent study in The Lancet, one of the most prestigious and highly regarded medical journals, recommended that fluoride be classified as a developmental neurotoxin along with lead, mercury, arsenic, PCBs, and toluene. (4)

Study authors believe that there is a “pandemic of developmental neurotoxicity” and fluoride is a contributor.

Developmental neurotoxins are linked to increases in autism, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), dyslexia, loss of IQ points, disruptive behavior, and other cognitive impairments.

2. The Ingestion of Fluoride Lowers IQ in Children

Harvard School of Public Health and China Medical University did a joint analysis of 27 studies on the effects of fluoride and found a strong correlation between fluoride and adverse effects on brain development. (5)

Children in high-fluoride areas had significantly lower IQ scores than those living in low-fluoride areas.

This is not the only study that supports these findings.

To date, more than 50 human studies have linked fluoride to reduced IQ in both children and adults. (6)

3. Fluoride Facilitates the Entry of Aluminum Into the Brain

In the 1970s, autopsies revealed that Alzheimer’s patients had higher than normal concentrations of neurotoxic aluminum in their brains.

It’s now understood that fluoride may play a role in the aluminum-Alzheimer’s connection.

The blood-brain barrier is a semipermeable membrane designed to keep foreign substances — like fluoride and aluminum — out of the brain.

When aluminum comes into contact with fluoride, it hitches a ride into the brain as aluminum fluoride, bypassing the blood-brain barrier.

The presence of aluminum fluoride in the brain has been linked to Alzheimer’s. (7)

4. Fluoridated Drinking Water Doubles the Risk of Hypothyroidism

Fluoride, especially when added to drinking water,

Lyme disease

Overview

Lyme disease is caused by four main species of bacteria. Borrelia burgdorferi and Borrelia mayonii cause Lyme disease in the United States, while Borrelia afzelii and Borrelia garinii are the leading causes in Europe and Asia. The most common tick-borne illness in these regions, Lyme disease is transmitted by the bite of an infected black-legged tick, commonly known as a deer tick.

You’re more likely to get Lyme disease if you live or spend time in grassy and heavily wooded areas where ticks carrying Lyme disease thrive. It’s important to take common-sense precautions in tick-infested areas.

Symptoms

The signs and symptoms of Lyme disease vary. They usually appear in stages, but the stages can overlap.

Early signs and symptoms

A small, red bump, similar to the bump of a mosquito bite, often appears at the site of a tick bite or tick removal and resolves over a few days. This normal occurrence doesn’t indicate Lyme disease.

However, these signs and symptoms can occur within a month after you’ve been infected:

  • Rash. From three to 30 days after an infected tick bite, an expanding red area might appear that sometimes clears in the center, forming a bull’s-eye pattern. The rash (erythema migrans) expands slowly over days and can spread to 12 inches (30 centimeters) across. It’s typically not itchy or painful but might feel warm to the touch.

Erythema migrans is one of the hallmarks of Lyme disease, although not everyone with Lyme disease develops the rash. Some people develop this rash at more than one place on their bodies.

  • Other symptoms

The basics of your genetic code, explained

DNA strands

We’ve been trying to figure out how DNA works since the dawn of time. We can be reasonably certain that people have always looked at one another, or at entire families, and wondered things like, “How is it we all have the exact same gloriously curly hair?” or, “Why do all the members of the family next door run like gazelles when we’re more turtle-like?” When people were thinking these kinds of things, they were thinking about DNA. They just didn’t know it yet.

And it wasn’t just in people. Farmers observed characteristics in livestock, for example, and selectively bred sheep to have gloriously curly and fine wool. They picked and cultivated the sweetest red apples found growing wild, rather than the tart, woody green ones — all decisions rooted in DNA.

We could sense there was something unseen governing inheritance in every living thing around us. A lot of theories were put forward, held up as fact, and then abandoned as the centuries and millennia ticked along (Preformationism, anyone?).

Eventually, these theories were refined into what we call genetics. Coincidentally, the theory of genetic inheritance and DNA as a compound were both described in the mid-1800’s, but they weren’t directly linked to each other for almost another 100 years. Experiments showing that DNA is the molecule responsible for inheritance were done in the 1940’s and 50’s, shortly before the now-famous double helix structure was discovered.

What is DNA?

So what is DNA? And what does it have to do with sprinting and curly hair? Put simply, DNA is
