How To Use Cloves To Remove The Evil Eye

evil eyes

“Malocchio”, “Mal Oje”, “Ayin-hore”,  “Drishti”, “Mati”, “The Evil Eye”.

Different languages have different terms to express the same thing: the belief that the eyes can be used to curse another person or affect their life negatively. The belief in the evil eye exists in cultures all over the world and can be found as far back in human history as ancient Sumeria.

WHAT IS THE EVIL EYE?

The evil eye is a form of curse that is cast through a malevolent glare.

It is usually the result of envy, of jealously so strong that its energy consumes the person and is projected outwardly through the eyes, affecting the victim. The results vary, especially considering that the evil eye often affects one thing specifically (what the person who gives the evil eye is envious of) instead of having a general effect: from headaches and vomiting to stomach aches and more serious health symptoms, bad luck, fighting with your significant other, damage of property, injuries etc.

It is usually not done deliberately (although in some cultures/traditions, there are ways people use to train themself in how to use the evil eye to cause harm), but if given by a person who has the natural ability to easily give the evil eye and if this person is particularly envious, the effects can rival a deliberate curse placed upon someone.

HOW TO REMOVE THE EVIL EYEremedies to remove buri nazar

There are many different ways to remove the evil eye curse.

The method I’m going to present here is the one I personally use. In many traditions they believe that for those methods to work, one has to either learn them from a person of the opposite sex (a mother can teach her son for example) or the person has to figure it out on their own by observing how someone else is doing it and without asking any questions.

Personally, I don’t believe there is any loss in effectiveness if one learns the method from a person of the same sex (or from an article on the internet, as is the case here).

However, the way I learnt this method was by observing older women in my extended family when they worked on removing the evil eye, so -since they weren’t allowed to explain how they do it exactly- chances are my method is slightly different than what my mom or aunt uses. This accounts for the many variations one can find for every basic method of evil eye removal, as well as for the different beliefs on how these methods can be used (many people will tell you for example that you cannot remove the mati from yourself; someone else has to do it) as well as in the actual result from the method used (the method I’m going to present for example is used by some people just for diagnostic purposes when they’re trying to find who gave them the evil eye, while

Please don’t be mean to ghosts by Victoria Baltimore Prutschke

I’ve been wondering why most movies and videos portray ghosts as evil, scary, and malicious.  There are billions and billions of people on this earth that have encounters with ghosts….are they all bad.

Does a ghost have to look scary to be a ghost?  Does it have to do bad things to people to be accepted on the big screen?

I’ve had MANY encounters with ghosts….spirits, whatever you wish to call them, and none of them were scary looking or even mean for that matter.  Most of them came to me for help.  Some of them came to warn me about impending danger regarding myself, or someone else.

I just wish I could know the real reason why people are so afraid of them, and why they have to make them out to be something terrible in order to get people to watch the movies they make.

It sure would be refreshing to have a ghost series or movie featuring happy, cute, helpful ghosts or something similar.

Please, don’t be mean to the ghosts.

Namaste

What is Reiki?

Reiki is a light yet powerful Japanese form of natural healing that promotes stress reduction, relaxation, gaining clarity & focus, and many other healing & activating benefits.  Meaning “Universal Life Force Energy,” Reiki (pronounced ray-key) exists within and all around you.  The practice of Reiki involves the light placing of hands on the body, or over the body, to balance, shift, strengthen, and/or restore energy throughout the body, connecting the energy systems and the energy centers in the palms of the hands.  The practitioner acts as a channel or conduit for this “Universal Life Force Energy” with the intention to heal; in this sense, Reiki can never harm – it can only help.

Energy healing dates back thousands of years ago toward practices that Tibetan monks would utilize.  (Re)Discovered in the early 1900s by Dr. Mikao Usui (of whom the Usui [Shiki Ryoho Reiki] System of Natural Healing is named), Reiki has been passed from practitioner to practitioner through master trainings/attunements.

While Reiki does provide many healing benefits, it is not meant as a substitute for medical advice/diagnoses or medication; rather, it can be practiced in complement with your medical practitioner.  A session involves the client lying down on a table, similar to massage, keeping open and/or meditative to energy work.  Light touch or no (auric) touch is used, based on personal preference.

A one-hour Reiki session can produce the effects equivalent to 4 hours of restful sleep.  It can remove blocks in the body – physical, mental, emotional, creative, and/or spiritual; foster peace and compassion; relieve tension; empower goals and intentions; and heal past or present conditions.  Sometimes you will experience physical sensations, sounds, messages, visions, all connected with the intention guiding the practice.

You do not have to believe in Reiki in order to experience the value/benefits from it, although a willingness to receive allows for a strengthened energetic connection.  Reiki does not have any specific attachment to any spiritual or religious affiliation; it can only enhance your current spiritual/belief system.
