Putting Magick into all you do…

A few people that I know have been asking me about how I practice Witchcraft.  I really had to stop and think about this because I’ve been doing it for over 16 years and It’s just something I do naturally every day.  It’s just a part of me…of my life.

Whatever I do, I always incorporate Magick into it.  For example, when vacuuming, I always say out loud or think to myself, “I now cleanse away all negativity  from this home.”  Sometimes I will be more creative and make up an elaborate incantation as I vacuum or clean the bathtub or whatever else I might be cleaning at that time, normally, that is the usual incantation that I use.

Something else that I do, is when I’m cooking, I will always infuse that which I’m cooking with healing and love.  The easiest way to do this is to set your intention (think of what you intend to do and say), and when you are stirring something in a clockwise motion, recite your intention, either in your mind or out loud, but make sure to really put your all into it.  Feel and see what it is that you are desiring to happen for those you are cooking for.

If you wish to heal or protect someone, naturally, you’ll say your incantation as you stir whatever it is that you are preparing, in a counter-clockwise motion.

Sometimes, when I’m feeling a bit creative, I’ll make my incantations rhyme.  For example, when I’m cooking soup to help heal someone I’ll stir counter-clockwise and say, “Sickness now goes away from thee, with harm to none, so mote it be!”

Another example is when I re-pot a plant that I wish to give to a newly married couple, as I’m putting the potting soil in and placing the plant, I might say,

“Love & happiness grows, problems and sadness now go, the roots of this plant are strong, & the love that you share is long.  So mote it be.” I repeat this incantation over and over as I re-pot the plant for them.

The ways I’ve mentioned are few, but there are so many ways to imbue your life with Magick!

I would be interested in how you add Magick into your daily life.  Just leave your questions or comments below.   Thanks.  Blessed be.
